Green Syncs With SyncCloud
SyncCloud is run remotely and as the name suggests, we are cloud based. Being a small independent business with minimal travel and running from renewable energy, we have a fairly low environmental impact. However, we know full well that our music and data stored on servers across the world will negatively contribute to our climate and we want to help put that right by planting a tree for every sync licence agreed. This is not only to become carbon neutral but an attempt to make a positive climate impact through music.
You can visually see our woodland starting to grow right here:
https://ecologi.com/synccloud.
We currently have 50 trees in our woods. This removes about 1 tonnes of carbon. That’s about the equivalent of 1 long haul flight, 3 metres of ice saved or 2481 miles driven by car.
By clicking on one of the trees displayed in our Ecologi page, you can read information about the species of tree, where it is planted and view it on a map. We believe that it’s a great initiative to be involved in and would encourage anyone to get involved in similar projects.
So when a SyncCloud track is licensed for production, you’ll know the planet has just become that tiny bit happier!
